If you are happy and want to give SpeakLive a try, you can choose the plan that suits you best, pay online, and you will receive your invoice. We then contact you within the following 48 hours to schedule your first Live Session – and off you go!
You will be shown how a regular session works, you will talk about your experience of the language and discuss your reasons for considering taking a language training course. We will assess your level, address any questions or doubts you may have, and suggest a course program that matches your needs.
No, semi-private coaching packages can be purchased ONLY if you have a language partner. The course will be confirmed once every participant has proceeded with the payment of the plan. However, if you wish to enroll alone in a group session, we may have potential language partners for you. Please check with us first!
I am not really a “digital” kind of person. Does learning with SpeakLive require any specific computer skills?
No, not really. As long as you are computer literate, you will be fine. We facilitate your learning by giving you access to our user-friendly platform. You can just log onto our website to have access to your live sessions and your learning resources. During the live sessions, we recommend you use a good quality webcam, and a headset for clearer sound, but you don’t have to.
Can I change language coaches during my training period? Can I continue with the same language coach if I renew?
If necessary yes, and yes. Your coach will be carefully chosen by our team to match your profile and requirements. However, if for any particular reason you would like to have a session with another coach, feel free to discuss it with your coach, or directly with us. Once your training period ends, you will be asked if you would like to renew. As long as you and your coach continue to have matching schedules, and are happy working together, you will be free to go ahead and plan your next sessions together!
Yes, this is possible. If you are stuck one day and cannot make a lesson, you may reschedule it without incurring any extra cost. Simply give your coach a minimum of 24-hours advanced notice. However, please keep in mind that your coach also needs to schedule sessions with other learners. If you have to cancel, you simply risk not having the timing alternatives that suit you best.
If this had to happen for unforeseen reasons, your coach would immediately notify you and offer you alternatives to reschedule within the days following the initially planned session.
Live sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes each. We recommend that you take a minimum of two sessions per week for effective learning. How you plan this, is entirely up to you.
Yes, you and your coach will schedule the sessions according to the plan you chose. Packages of 1-10 session(s) expire after 6 months, and packages of 20 or 40 sessions are valid for 1 year. This system gives you flexibility to arrange your sessions according to your commitments.
You can reach us by phone Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, and from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays. Our online school is open 24/7. Our coaches are located in Switzerland and in different parts of the world to bring maximum flexibility. You can use the online resources any time. Your e-learning account stays open until your subscription period ends.
Bank transfers should be made in Swiss francs. We also accept all major credit (Visa, American Express, MasterCard). Keep your invoice and don’t forget to submit training expenses for tax deductions if you can.
