The gold coast is more of a tourist destination, so people are more friendly and tons of beaches :DMelbourne has access to beaches, and its only a short drive away to the Great Ocean Road - which is a great place to visit and learn to surf. Cameron Smith is off-contract at the end of the 2020 season.

Titans co-owner Darryl Kelly confirmed the club’s interest and Kent believes Smith’s inability to make a call is adding fuel to the fire of a potential club switch.“The big thing is why hasn’t Cameron made a decision yet,” Kent said on NRL 360.“It was about six or seven weeks ago that he said he was going to make a decision in the next three weeks.“This is what leads to the conspiracy theories surrounding the Titans having secret negotiations.“He said it would be three weeks and it has now been another three or four weeks since then.“Everybody has been sitting at home saying why hasn’t he made a decision yet.Kent believes Smith owes the Storm the courtesy of making a contract call so that they can plan for next season.“To be fair Cameron has got to make a decision soon,” Kent said.“He’s got the Storm sitting there at the moment and he has two other hookers at the club in Harry Grant and Brandon Smith who are trying to figure out what their futures look like.“The Storm are trying to get their salary cap sorted out as well and they have got this guy who right now is injured, so he has got a bit of time on his schedule to come to a decision.“Why he is not making a decision now and keeping the club in limbo is beyond me.”James Hooper believes Grant is a certainty to return to the Storm, which makes the Titans interest more plausible.“That feeds into the Gold Coast Titans conspiracy theory and further to that theory the Storm are aware of what is going on,” Hooper said.“Harry Grant is going back to Melbourne he will not be at the Wests Tigers.“Everyone we spoke to said no the quotes were out of context, but I disagree with that.“Darryl Kelly is a smart bloke and he knows what he is doing.
