Game play is fun, and changes each time you attempt a scenario. While it had some sound ideas, the game suffered from long setup times and a need for intense attention to detail. The application does quite a bit of hand-holding to alleviate the headaches of learning the mechanics. Aside from when going into new rooms monsters may spawn during the event phase, though this can also see negative effects applied to the investigators. We were grateful that she failed.The game isn’t made for everyone though. The latter I was a little bummed about as the concept was great. Due to an event or an attack your character is going to take X damage or horror but a good dice roll could save you. For such an expensive game, enough dice should be included for all players to use.Being both time saving and time sink are the alphabetical decks.
