Unfortunately in Chasing Shadows the sergeant with Asperger's (although this is never acknowledged) has no social graces whatsoever which begs the question "How on earth did he ever manage to enter the police force never mind make it to sergeant". The show never missed a beat, was entirely plausible and the audience became invested in the characters, which made the last, unresolved, missing person especially heartbreaking.
I hope they bring it back for a second season. Character driven, and believable, this show kept me guessing almost right until the end. I'm a real fan of British TV series and this is another really good one.
