Great food, excellent staff. If you love hüsker dü then you already own this. Fast drums, bass beat to back the drums just enough and lyrics I couldn't understand but eventually caught them "new day rising" absolutely simple, yet very effective with the yelling and such.

This and Zen Arcade are at a tie for my favorite with Warehouse not far behind. Since then I have purchase every title by Husker Du, Bob Mould, Nova Mob, and Sugar...but this album reigns supreme. Vinyl reissue is highly recommended, the only real way to listen to this album.
I heard the title track blare out and it was like nothing I ever heard before. This album is my favorite. We waited 45 minutes for a few takeaway bagels and coffees. These three guys are amazing. However, most of the disc showcased this Minneapolis trio unleashing their hardcore beast to great effect. I was blown away from the second I heard a noise out of my speakers. Then out of nowhere I was doing my Amazon vinyl shopping (usually while intoxicated which is never good for the wallet..) and I searched Husker Du out of nowhere and found this album at a good price. The next day after listening to this I got in my truck headed to work and put in Warehouse because it was the only CD I had by them and as opposed to my first time, now I was in love with what I was hearing again. Have to give 5 star props to this record.

Highly recommended album and group.I seem to be one of the few fans that don't consider this a album a religious experience. Granted, this "sprawling double concept album" may have been a lot to swallow, and the 14-minute instrumental at the end was probably a bit too much. Not considered their best or highest production value but this was the album that introduced me to Husker Du in 1985.
