I own this movie and I enjoy watching it. Sound and images OK. A movie zone severe hang-ups. I like the interviews with Tom Conti and Ryuichi Sakamoto (as well as 1983 press statements from David Bowie and director Nagisa Oshima per translation). Java, 1942 - A clash of cultures, a test of the human spirit.. The movie looks better than ever here in widescreen, and the haunting score by Ryuichi Sakamoto (who also co-stars in this film) sound great.
