It tries to make the Arab world what the west is, complete with the former being modern in everything from women's rights to eating and drinking habits whereas Europe (while having no issue with food/drink) is every bit as repressive towards women and minorities as the Arab world is today. This premise has lots of potential and leads to lots of questions: what happened (or didn't happen) to cause the world to turn out this way? Now, progressive, modern and comfortable Muslim nations look warily at their Christian neighbours, and two brilliant investigators are dispatched to the dangerous streets of Italy in an effort to nip the terrorist threat of the Aquinists in the bud...I really kind of disappointed.
